Carburettor Grommet for the twin Stromberg carburettor installation on the V8 petrol engine. It sits in the air cleaner and carburettor air intake assembly.

The grommet seals the air temperature control passage where the intake draws warmed and ambient air, maintaining the sealed path that feeds the carburettor’s automatic air-temperature control. A perished or missing grommet allows unmetered air into the intake, upsetting cold-start enrichment and idle quality.
