Thermostat for the engine cooling system, with an 82C opening temperature.

The thermostat regulates coolant flow between the engine and the radiator. It remains closed during warm-up to bring the engine quickly up to temperature, then opens at 82C to circulate coolant through the radiator and hold the engine at its operating temperature. It locates in the thermostat housing at the coolant outlet from the cylinder head.
