Description

Handbrake Adjuster Assembly is the brake-shoe adjuster for the transmission-mounted parking brake (the drum brake on the rear of the transfer box output).

Turning the adjuster moves the brake shoes out towards the drum to set the running clearance, taking up wear so the handbrake holds firmly. It is fitted to the transmission handbrake backplate and acts on the shoes.
