Mainshaft Thrust Washer – 2nd Gear (0.125″) is a selective shim located within the Series gearbox, fitted to control axial play on the second gear position of the mainshaft.

This 0.125″ (3.18 mm) washer is one of a range of thicknesses used to set the correct end-float on the mainshaft 2nd gear cluster during gearbox assembly or overhaul. Selecting the correct shim thickness is essential to eliminate excessive play and ensure accurate gear engagement.
