Gear Lever Anti-Rattle Plunger Spring The lower plunger spring for the gear lever in the gearchange mechanism of the 5-speed manual gearbox (LT77 and R380).

It loads the plunger against the gear lever ball to take up free play in the pivot, damping vibration carried through the lever and reducing rattle for a more positive shift action.
