Suitable for all domestic, commercial and industrial use. These high load hinges are designed for longevity with a fit-and-forget solution. There is no metal to metal movement within the hinge instead using carbon steel and porous bronze flanged bushes impregnated with a specially formulated lubricant. This construction eliminates the wear and regular maintenance required by other types of hinge and because they do not wear, they will not fail and require no maintenance. The drill positioning and better quality fixings help to spread the load on timber door frames and stiles. For standard internal residential doors a pair of hinges is adequate; however fitting 3 hinges per door has its advantages. It will look aesthetically pleasing and from a practical viewpoint it helps spread the load evenly and will help to overcome twisting or warping.
